Time Management Is Not about Time:

3 Counter-Intuitive Strategies Highly Productive People Get More Done

What Members of The Lab Are Saying

I carry around a copy of the Get it Done Lab statement that begins, “I can do it, I WILL do it…” and am committing it to memory. It’s interesting that each time I say it, the words get deeper in meaning. I find it incredibly empowering, and more than that, very focusing and centering. It reconfirms my choice to stay on track as the life ‘ride’ goes up and down. And as Sam says, keeps me ‘in integrity with myself.’

I am so grateful for making the commitment to be on this Lab process – thank you, Sam!

Sam’s Get it Done Lab has helped me to blow past some serious creative and productivity blocks and fall in love with the process. The process is now lifting me rather than crushing me. Thanks Sam! I can’t wait for the next session to start.

Days 26 & 27 – DONE. I’ve definitely found my mojo, my groove, says this former hippie. The thing I do for fun now is to dig through the piles, invent new ways to store things, fixing things like broken filing cabinet drawers along the way. I’m embracing those rabbit holes because they still GET things DONE.

I did it! I gave my presentation to a live audience. It’s been in my head and heart for years, and today I let it fly. It feels good. (And I got paid.)

All because Sam said, “Get it Done!” The first step was getting it updated as an ebook on Amazon, the second step was converting the formatting to paperback. Third step, ordering my own copy so I could see it! Pardon my excitement, but there is something to be said for finishing a project and having someone like Samantha, cheering you on. Thank you, for the millionth time, Sam!

Praise for Sam Bennett & Her Teaching

There are few people who blend a rational sense of system so beautifully with an open and caring heart. Samantha Bennett is the definition of a teacher/guide – she imparts awareness and knowledge with the gusto of an Irish bartender and holds her students close like the protective lioness grooming her cubs to rule their jungle.

Sam has dedicated an enormous part of her life to helping us all deftly juggle our creative desires – the screenplay and the pottery kiln and the dance lessons (or in my case, the martial arts classes). So have fun, don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do it, and keep Sam around as your capable guide.

–Keegan-Michael Key

Co-creator, "Key and Peele," actor, writer, producer and big movie star

I keep digging deep into who I might be. Sam is such a true guide that I feel as if I’m in some kind of epic “Lord of the Rings” type story! I’ve had some deep down dark times but now the path keeps becoming more sparkly. I don’t think of myself as a writer yet I think the biggest gift of many years of working with Sam is that more and more I’ve discovered writing as the most fundamental part of my expression on this creative journey.
